Ben and Jerry's

Let me just start off with this quote...

' "We applaud PETA's novel approach to bringing attention to an issue, but we believe a mother's milk is best used for her child," a representative for Ben & Jerry's said at the time.'

Cow's milk is for the same thing. This is the main issue, that non-vegans don't understand. Cows create milk for the same exact purpose that humans do....for their babies. They would not even produce milk if they weren't impregnanted. These dairy cows are seriously maltreated, and it's an awful situation.

Why do you think that as humans get older about 50% of the population develops an intolerance to cow's milk, and products containing it? Probably because it's not something we are meant to consume.

Having ice cream made out of human breat milk is essentially the same thing as cows milk. It is ridiculous to me that people even drink cows milk, it's gross, and abusive.

Cow's milk is for baby cows, not humans, the end.

I'm a non-vegan but I know milk from cows is for calves...

No, it's not something we're meant to consume. But most of what we eat these days aren't natural to our bodies, like tofu and any bio-engineered foods (pretty much all fruit is not the way it originally was because we have bred and crossbred it with so many strains that they're massive and completely unnatural). But they're a regular part of our diets because they're cheaper to produce and consume than all natural foods.

That doesn't mean it's not disgusting to consume the "breat milk" of a mother cow, which was clearly intended for the survival of the baby calf, not for human consumption. I think it's the same as people consuming human breast milk, it's not natural (other than for human infants, of course).
